I love God, and wish I listened to him more often. I am Christian, but not one of those Bible-thumpers that push myself on others, or tell people how great I am. I hate that. Did you ever notice that someone who does something really and truly good doesn’t talk about it, because they don’t need to - people just notice.
I got married about a year ago, and believe that I found the coolest man in the whole world to spend three forevers with (one isn’t enough). He’s my best friend, my soulmate, my love, and my whole life.
We don’t have any human kids yet, but we do have three of the four-legged kind (one dog and two cats), and they are awesome. There’s nothing better than coming home from a long day at work or school and being greeted by someone who is cute and furry, who is always glad to see you, and never talks back. Actually, I can’t really say that. Our Great Dane is mouthy when she doesn’t get her way…she gets that from her momma ;)
That’s another reason that I love Jason so much….he puts up with all of these animals, with a smile on his face. I don’t know how he does it…I’m always talking him into things that he probably doesn’t want to do, but does just because he knows it will make me happy.
I come from a big family, and I love them with all of me. They infuriate me, they make me lose my cool, and they know (and vocalize) lots of embarassing stories about me. But I would bleed for any one of them in a heartbeat.
And some random thoughts, on which I did not feel like writing entire paragraphs…
- I sympathize with people whom society tends to reject.
- If you piss me off, there’ll be no doubt in your mind about it.
- I LOVE animals, and will not tolerate abuse towards them - even “joking” references about abuse or torture of innocent creatures, disgust me.
- I love old things, butterflies, the color purple, peanut butter Cap’n Crunch, and the Gators, in no particular order.
- Saying that I love coffee would be putting it mildly…that love teeters on the brink of obsession. Coffee gets its own bullet.
I think that about sums me up…I tried to be interesting but brief. I hate it when people talk about themselves too much…listening is much better.
